One helpful tool that is provided with EdgeSafe setup files is the diagnostics setup that can be useful in checking backup agent to control station connectivity for EdgeSafe installation.This is used for troubleshooting from the client systems whereas the other diagnostics module covered earlier is run from the central control station.
This tool needs to be installed on the client workstations where EdgeSafe PST2PST backup agent is installed and only when the backup agent installation is complete on client systems.
From the folder named Util, within that the diagnostics tool subfolder is present which contains the below setup file for diagnostics.
Run the file to install client side diagnostics from the specified location.On finishing installation,the backup agent needs to be restarted in order for the diagnostics tool to integrate with the agent successfully.
Right click the @ icon to first shutdown the backup agent (present in taskbar) and then restart the agent by going to Start >Programs>DataMills>PST2PST Agent.
